Recount text tersusun atas 3 bagian, yaitu:

1. Orientation
   

   Orientation merupakan bagian pendahuluan atau perkenalan dari hal yang akan dibahas. Bagian ini memberikan background information (informasi latar belakang) kepada pembaca agar mereka paham apa yang dibicarakan dalam teks. Bagian ini memuat siapa yang terlibat, di mana tempat kejadiannya, dan kapan peristiwa itu terjadi.

2. Events
   

   Events memuat rangkaian kejadian yang disusun secara kronologis. Pada bagian ini, kejadian ditulis dari awal hingga selesai.

3. Re-orientation
   

   Re-orientation adalah kesimpulan dari teks ini. Bagian ini bisa diisi dengan komentar pribadi si penulis.

Language Features Recount Text

Language features atau fitur kebahasaan dari genre text ini antara lain yaitu:

• Menggunakan personal participant: I, my group, etc.
• Menggunakan chronological connection: then, first, etc. 
• Menggunakan linking verb: look, go, change, etc
• Menggunakan Simple Past Tense

My Study Tour in Bali

When I was in the 2nd grade of senior high school, my friends and I went to Bali for a study tour. We went there for a week, including the time we used to take transportation to get there. We visited many amazing and impressive places.

After we arrived in Gilimanuk Harbour, we took a rest for a while and we visited  Bedugul Lake. The weather was a bit confusing for me since it felt hot and cold at the same time. Bedugul Lake was very large and beautiful. Next, we visited Tanah Lot. There were many tourists taking selfies and enjoying the sea scenery. Not only domestic tourists but there were a lot of foreign tourists as well. Then we checked in to our hotel and we prepared ourselves for the next day tour.

On the second day, we visited several beaches. The first one was Kuta Beach, the most popular beach in Bali. The weather was sunny and nice at that time. We saw the clear blue sky, which harmonized nicely with the seawater. There were a lot of tourists enjoying the sea scenery too. The second beach was Pandawa Beach. This beach was relatively quiet compared to Kuta Beach. The quiet beach refreshed my mind and soul. After a tiring but pleasing day, we went back to our hotel.

On the next day, we went to some amazing places as well, like Kebun Raya Bali and Istana Tampaksiring. We learnt a lot about many plants there. The atmosphere in the Kebun Raya Bali was humid, yet somehow fresh. It might be because of the lines of plantations there. Next, we moved to Istana Tampaksiring. This presidential palace was huge and large in area. We were guided by a tour guide explaining things in the palace. After receiving a lot of lessons in one day, we went back to our hotel to prepare for the last day.

On the last day in Bali, we checked out from the hotel. Then, we visited some souvenir shops. We bought Joger T-shirts and typical snacks from Bali, which were milk pie. I bought several T-shirts for my family, and several packs of milk pie as well. 

We went home bringing many unforgettable memories from Bali. It was one of my impressive memories from senior high school that I won’t forget.
