Correlative Conjunction

Correlative Conjunction merupakan conjunction yang berpasangan.

• Daftar Correlative Conjunction

  • Both … and … (baik … maupun …)
  • Not only … but also … (tidak hanya … tetapi juga … )
  • Either … or … (jika bukan … berarti … )
  • Neither … nor … (baik … maupun … tidak.)

• menghubungkan antar subjek.

  • untuk “Both … and … ” → selalu bertemu verb plural.
  • untuk “Not only … but also …; Either … or … ; Neither … nor … ) → mengikuti subjek yang kedua

• menghubungkan antar clause  .

  • untuk “Not only … but also …” dan “Neither … nor … “ terdapat inversi atau pembalikan seperti pada pola di bawah ini.
